Can Poor Digestion or Poor Elimination Be The Reason My Teen’s Acne Won’t Go Away?
Absolutely. The body produces symptoms to let us know if it’s happy or if we need to make changes for optimal wellness and function.
When the body produces acne, this is just another symptom letting us know something needs to be addressed. When the acne doesn’t improve or it goes away and comes back, this is the body’s way of saying “this isn’t the proper method to correct the problem”.
The body eliminates toxins and waste by way of urine, bowel, and sweat, but when those systems become overwhelmed the hair, nails, and SKIN are called in to support the process.
It’s calling in the big guns because when we can see a visible change to our hair, nails, and skin, we normally pay a little more attention.
It’s important to remember that there are many reasons for the body to produce acne, but acne will never happen without a digestive problem.
The digestive system not only eliminates the liquid waste (via the kidney system) and solid waste (via large intestine), but it also eliminates any thoughts or emotions that do not serve our highest good.
This is the reason we need to dig deeper into each person’s lifestyle, health history, and emotions. Nothing is random, including acne - the type and location tell me everything.
